Trump's Family Member Seeks Expert Tips from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance
This young athlete has impressive online presence
Kai Trump will have plenty of prominent cheerleaders as she begins her professional golf debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is related to Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates numerous courses worldwide and often matches against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she stated.
Kai explained that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"He essentially advised me to play and relax," she added.
"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, so he's rather occupied."
As an amateur, Kai has competed in just three tournaments this year and has position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
Yet she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He represents the best player in the world," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's an even better person. He suggested me to compete, have fun, and go with the flow."
The golfer will compete against several top competitors in the sport at this tournament, featuring world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials stated that Kai's presence brings the sport to different demographics, particularly reaching youth audiences.
The young star has millions of followers and recently launched an exclusive apparel and wellness company.
The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
